About Us
About FamousPokerPlayers.com: who we are, what we cover and how we rank famous poker players.
Who we are
FamousPokerPlayers.com is an independent reference site about the people who shaped poker. We cover legends, modern high rollers, broadcasters, streamers and the celebrities who sit down at the table, with one consistent profile for every player.
What you will find here
A profile for every player in our database, with a biography, career summary, biggest wins, playing style, business ventures, net worth estimate and frequently asked questions.
Curated lists that group players by country, era, achievements, play style, pop culture and background. Lists are generated from our database, so new players appear in every list they qualify for.
How we work
We rely on public, verifiable sources: the Hendon Mob database for live earnings, official WSOP records for bracelets, the Poker Hall of Fame for inductions, and interviews and reputable poker media for biographies. Read our editorial policy for details.
