Landon Tice biography
Landon Tice emerged on the poker scene in early 2020 as a largely self-taught online cash game specialist, quickly building a following through Twitter, a detailed strategy blog, and Twitch streaming. Starting from modest micro-stakes bankrolls, he progressed rapidly to mid- and high-stakes six-max no-limit hold'em, developing a reputation for an ultra-aggressive, non-showdown-heavy style.
In August 2020, he played a highly publicized warm-up heads-up match against veteran high-stakes pro Doug Polk, drawing significant attention from the online poker community. Tice later became embroiled in a separate, closely followed heads-up challenge saga involving businessman Bill Perkins, which he ultimately conceded.
He has continued to be one of the most talked-about young high-stakes cash game players to emerge from the 2020s online poker boom, dividing his time between live cash games on the Las Vegas Strip and online play.
