Max Broens biography
Max Broens is a Dutch tournament poker player who has built a steadily growing live earnings record on the European circuit, with $211,265 in documented winnings across 19 cashes.
His signature result came at the 2025 WSOP International Circuit stop in Amsterdam, where he finished runner-up in the EUR 1,100 No-Limit Hold'em event for $125,589, a result that accounts for the majority of his career earnings and demonstrated his ability to go deep in a large-field, high-pressure final table against a strong Dutch and international turnout.
He has followed that breakthrough with continued strong showings on the European stops in 2026, including a third-place finish in the Irish Open's EUR 550 Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Max event for $7,734 and a sixth-place finish in the CAPT Seefeld EUR 2,200 No-Limit Hold'em Championship for $23,364.
Broens's results reflect a player equally comfortable in both No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha formats, and his consistent cashing across multiple countries and tours points to an active, travel-based grinding schedule on the mid-to-high stakes European tournament circuit.
