Calvin Lee biography
Calvin Lee is a Korean-born New Yorker who built his poker foundation the hard way, grinding high-stakes cash games in Macau before making a full transition into the international tournament circuit. He picked up his first WSOP gold bracelet in 2016, winning a $3,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event for $531,577, a result that established him as a legitimate tournament threat beyond the cash tables.
In the years since, Lee has become a central figure in Seoul's growing professional poker community, splitting his time between South Korea and the broader Asia-Pacific circuit. His deep well of high-stakes cash-game experience shows in his tournament results, including his largest career cash of $1,185,000 at the Triton Poker Super High Roller Series in Jeju in March 2025 and back-to-back Asian Poker Tour Superstar titles in Incheon and Taipei later that year.
With career earnings surpassing $6.9 million, Lee remains one of the region's most dangerous and battle-tested high-roller competitors.
