Spraggy biography
Benjamin "Spraggy" Spragg is an English poker player and streamer who first learned the game in a friend's garage after graduating from university in 2012. He started out grinding cash games and, in an early and unusual move, began live-streaming those sessions before pivoting his focus to tournament poker. His engaging, self-deprecating on-camera presence built a rapidly growing online audience, and by 2017 PokerStars had recruited him as a brand ambassador.
Spraggy backed up his content success with real results, winning multiple titles during the 2020-2021 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) and earning the Global Poker Index's Streamer of the Year award in 2021. His biggest live score came in September 2023, when he won the UKIPT Brighton Main Event for £69,000, defeating four-time WSOP bracelet winner Dominik Nitsche heads-up in front of his own streaming audience.
Off the felt, Spraggy married fellow poker player Marle Cordeiro (now Marle Spragg) in 2021, and the couple remain popular figures within the online poker content community.
